Warrenton, Virginia-based Titania Solutions Group announced it has been awarded a $9.1 million prime contract from the Federal Aviation Administration to support research and analysis of emerging technologies in the field of unmanned aircraft systems.

The contract has a 1-year base and four 1-year options.

“We are honored to have been selected by the FAA to deliver services in support of its complex and critically important mission and responsibility as the national authority responsible for the National Air Space (NAS),” said Jodi Johnson, Titania president CEO. “All at Titania recognize the opportunity before us to support the FAA at this pivotal time as the FAA works with stakeholders across the government and industry to safely integrate UAS into the NAS.”

Founded in 2012, Titania is a certified woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned small business. It was recognized this year as a one the fastest-growing government contractors in the region by Washington Technology.

In addition to FAA, Titania’s main customers include the departments of Health and Human Services and Defense.
