Former chief architect of the U.S. Navy Safety Network is joining ECS to lead the company’s architecture, engineering and implementation teams in providing network infrastructure and security for enterprise and government networks.

Angeles, who’s stepping into the role as vice president of engineering, brings over 20 years’ experience in network and systems engineering. He spent a decade providing communication for the Navy’s public safety operations as chief architect for PSNet.

“Our goal is to bring carrier-class engineering solutions and practices to our customer’s networks,” Angeles said. “Together, we hope to continually innovate and find effective solutions for our customers’ communications challenges.”

    ECS President George Wilson added:

“Joel’s insight and leadership are critical to our strategy for building our network engineering practice and serving customers at the highest level. We are looking forward to more successful outcomes for our company and clients.”
