SOS International will provide technical support for a U.S. Army satellite systems under a $55 million deal it recently won, the company announced.

SOSi was the sole awardee on the contract, which aims to support the Wideband Enterprise Satellite Systems managed by the U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office – Enterprise Information Systems.

Under the contract, SOSi will provide secure and unsecure voice, data and video services and all phases of SATCOM communications management, engineering, installation, integration, operation, maintenance and life cycle support.

“This award demonstrates the synergies we anticipated from our recent STG acquisition,” said Julian Setian, SOSi president and CEO. “By serving the SATCOM needs of our military under this contract, we’re effectively expanding our global footprint in support of Army, Air Force, and Joint operations, leveraging our decades of experience in managing complex network operations and security.”
