SOS International has hired Morgan Roth to be the company’s vice president for marketing and communications. In the new role, Roth will provide strategic support to the growing SOSi brand, the company said.
“SOSi has had an increasingly prominent voice in the community,” said Julian Setian, SOSi president and CEO. “By adding Morgan to our team, we’re looking to put our charity activities, community partnerships, and brand awareness into overdrive. Her mix of government, international, and commercial experience makes her a perfect choice for what we’re looking to accomplish in the years ahead.”
Most recently, Roth served as special adviser to a $75 million U.S. Agency for International Development-sponsored education project in Rwanda. Before coming to SOSi, she worked as chief strategy officer and vice president of strategic communications for the International Association of Fundraising Professionals.
She has also previously developed messaging strategies for global brands, such as the American University in Cairo and the American University of Beirut.
Roth has a bachelor’s degree in modern languages from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and is an alumna of the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, North Carolina.
