SOS International has won a $5 million contract with the U.S. Army to provide a host of services for the Office of Security Cooperation at the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, the company announced.

Under the contract, SOSi will provide human resources, accounting and technical security assistance services for the security office.

The embassy’s security office aims to support the development of a modern, accountable and fiscally sustainable Iraqi military.

“SOSi has been supporting U.S. liberalization and stabilization efforts in Iraq since 2003,” said Frank Helmick, senior vice president of SOSi’s Mission Solutions Group. “We look forward to our continued relationship with the Office of Security Cooperation and State Department.”
