WashingtonExec’s EA Committee is offering more than ever, as leaders have shifted the program content to focus on strengthening networking opportunities.
“Having a network of like-minded professionals is extremely valuable, particularly to those EAs who work alone and not as part of a team,” said Chairwoman Kristin Cuadros, executive assistant at Attain.
“We are the only executive assistant committee in the DMV area focusing on EAs in the government contracting industry,” she continued. “Our members realize the endless benefits of having a network and are extremely grateful for this group.”
Formed in 2009, the committee now has 62 members and meets quarterly. The 2018 program will consist of speaker events providing ongoing education and related support as well as virtual training opportunities, a personal stylist workshop and an annual member appreciation event.
“It’s time to mix things up a bit and get our members out of the conference room and into fun settings where we can casually network,” Cuadros said.
