DMI’s New Tool to Help Streamline Auditing

    Scott Deutschman, DMI

Mobile solutions provider DMI has launched a mobile platform designed to help digitize and streamline the inspections and audit process in government and private industry.

Using the Inspection Platform as a Service, or IPaaS, offering, auditors equipped with tablets can use DMI’s mobile platform to gather data, including text, voice, video, image or sensor inputs. They can also share the data with other inspectors in real-time “and immediately generate and submit the appropriate regulatory and corporate filings,” said Scott Deutschman, DMI’s corporate development officer.

“One of the innovative things we’re helping clients with is analyzing their inspection and audit data to identify and assess risk trends and use the risk assessment information to prioritize how it focuses its inspectors and auditors,” Deutschman said. “The data generated by the mobile inspection and audit solution is valuable and business impacting. When put to work, the data allows our clients to innovate in ways they can not today because they simply do not have the ability to do so.”

The mobile platform offers a turn-key solution of pre-built components that can be easily customized, using human-centric, design to meet clients’ needs, DMI said.

The platform offers configurable view and layouts, dynamics forms and mobile printing among other features. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
