Alion Science and Technology has been awarded a place on the Defense Department’s $28 billion Information Analysis Center contract, the company announced.
Under the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity deal, the company will compete for task orders to provide R&D solutions to the IAC’s program management office within the Defense Technical Information Center. DTIC is the Pentagon’s clearinghouse of technical research, development, testing and evaluation data.
”Alion provides research and development solutions to advance the mission of the Department of Defense, and this contract will enable us to continue this important work in support of warfighting, security and the operational needs of our military,” said Steve Schorer, Alion president and CEO.
