Salient CRGT, Inc. has announced the promotion of Edward “Ted” Schmitt from vice president to senior vice president reporting directly to Tom Ferrando, president and CEO. In his new role, Schmitt will be responsible for leading the Health Services Group (HSG). Salient CRGT’s Health Services Group focuses on delivering services to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services and the Defense Health Agency. The range of services includes data informatics, agile software development, enterprise system support, data center support services, program management and cloud migration services.

Schmitt joined Salient CRGT in 2017 (via the acquisition of Information Innovators Inc. or Triple-i) as vice president. At both Triple-i and Salient CRGT, Inc., he was responsible for the Agile Development Solutions group which delivered digital services to the Food and Drug Administration and other federal agencies. He brings 22 years of customer-focused experience in health services, defense logistics and higher education to Salient CRGT’s Health Services Group. In his new role, Schmitt is charged with continuing to execute programs that enjoy high levels of customer satisfaction and he will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities which leverage the talents and dedication of HSG employees.

“I’ve asked Ted to ensure that he maintains HSG’s focus on delivering quality to our customers. Enabling our customers to meet their own goals and continuing to maintain focus on our employees is vital,” said Tom Ferrando, the company’s president and CEO. “This is a well-deserved promotion and the logical next step for Ted. I am confident his leadership will continue to foster our growth and provide the best service to our clients.”
