WashingtonExec: Tell me about an app, device or type of technology you personally love and why.

Baroni: I’m really excited about a series of web and mobile apps that Attain developed working with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) that ensures 24/7 access to health information for our veterans, military families and soldiers. Many current and former military personnel experience psychological stress that can lead to sleeping disorders, poor health, impaired function, drug addiction, and even suicide. But getting 24/7 access to help was challenging, especially in remote areas. Working with the DHA, Attain developed native mobile apps and PWAs, including Breathe2Relax, T2 Mood Tracker, Virtual Hope Box, and CBT-1 Coach, that provide continuous access to health solutions. The impact? Our military and their families now have access to tools to help improve their psychological health and overall wellbeing.
