LGS Innovations has been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honor by The Washington Post. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics).
“We are honored and humbled to receive the Washington Post Top Workplaces award for the third consecutive year,” said Kevin Kelly, CEO of LGS Innovations. “We strive to maintain a workplace environment that encourages creative thinking and provides resources for our teams to solve the most complex problems our customers face. Exceptional employees are the driving force behind our success and this recognition is truly their accomplishment.”
LGS scored particularly well in encouragement of new ideas (23 percent above the industry benchmark), senior leadership understanding and involvement (22 percent above the industry benchmark), and a feeling of meaningful connection employees feel to the work the company does (19 percent above the industry benchmark).
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Claffey said. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
