MacAulay-Brown, Inc. has teamed with Smartronix, Inc. on a Tactical and Remote Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Collaboration, and Intelligence Edge Systems task order.

MacB will provide technical expertise to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Special Communications Mission Solutions, and all work will be done in Maryland at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River.

MacB engineers and tactical program managers will work with Smartronix to provide Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance capabilities from inception through end-of-life cycle on various fielded equipment to assist the warfighter.

Tasks will include analysis, fabrication and prototyping, integration and installation, logistical services, as well as research, development, test and evaluation services of all telecommunication and C5I systems, subsystems and components.

“We’ll perform technical and testing assignments that will require a working knowledge of Special Operations Forces (SOF) communications and equipment, as well as cybersecurity expertise and use of our integrated laboratory capabilities,” said Fred Norman, senior vice president and general manager of MacB’s Mission Systems Group. “Our specialized engineers and other technical experts will design and develop new systems and/or modify existing ones within C5ISR to aide our partner in fulfilling all TARCES task order deliverables.”
