Salient CRGT has been awarded a $9.2 million task order to help U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services modernize its paper-based immigration process.
Awarded through the Department of Homeland Security EAGLE II multiple-award contract vehicle, the task order will provide agile development services for the USCIS Electronic Immigration System. The task order covers a 6-month base period and a 6-month option period.
Salient CRGT’s agile development teams will transform and streamline USCIS operations, making adjudicators more effective, the company said.
“The USCIS plays a critical role in securing America’s promise as a nation of immigrants and maintaining the integrity of our immigration system,” said Brad Antle, CEO of Salient CRGT. “Our expertise in Agile methodology will help the USCIS improve the technologies it employs and enable the efficient issuing of immigration and citizenship benefits.”
The Salient CRGT teams will work collaboratively with the government throughout the project, rapidly delivering quality, tested code in small batches, to increase the frequency and pace of delivering business-valued technology and support, the company said.
