Sue Gordon, principal director of national intelligence, will be the keynote speaker for the Intelligence and National Security Alliance Achievement Awards ceremony and reception next month.
Gordon has nearly three decades of experience in the intelligence community. She previously served as deputy director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency before assuming her current role in August 2017.
Registration is open for the Feb. 22 event at the United States Institute of Peace. The eighth annual awards will recognize promising professionals in public, private and academic sectors who are early or midway through their careers. The recognized individuals have made exceptional contributions to U.S. intelligence and national security while showing themselves to be outstanding leaders or mentors.
The welcome reception begins 6 p.m. and the awards ceremony 7 p.m.
