IndraSoft Inc. has been awarded a $64 million task order to conduct end-to-end fingerprinting and identity proofing services for the U.S. Census Bureau.

The task order will help the Census Bureau onboard over 500,000 selectees to be hired in support of the upcoming decennial census in 2020.

“IndraSoft is pleased to be supporting the U.S. Census Bureau and its enormously important task of providing an accurate count of the more than 327 million individuals residing in the United States,” company CEO Neeraja Lingam said. “This constitutionally mandated effort is among the largest and most important programs overseen by our nation’s government and we are committed to its success.”

The task order covers project management, implementation, operations and maintenance, and associated customer support activities for a comprehensive fingerprinting, identity proofing, and facial photography solution. The company will provide services across the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and island territories, and the work will run from the 2018 End-to-End Census Test through completion of all 2020 decennial census operations.

IndraSoft is a woman-owned business that provides digital services and solutions in the areas of health and national defense.
