Changeis Inc. has been appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration for services, the company said.

Changeis was appraised in accordance with Software Engineering Institute’s Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement, or SCAMPI, Class A methodology. As a result of this appraisal, the company was determined to be performing at a “defined” level, using processes well characterized and understood by the organization, and are clearly described in standards, procedures, tools and methods.

“What our customers look for the most is reliable and responsive service delivery,” said Varun Malhotra, co-founder and executive vice president of Changeis. “We invested in this certification to institutionalize practices that achieve measurable and consistent outcomes. It’s all about maintaining our high customer satisfaction.”

The consulting firm specializes in strategy and transformation management; investment analysis and acquisition; governance; and innovation and research and development management.

CMMI is a global process improvement model that provides guidance to how an organization develops and delivers products and services. Organizations worldwide use the framework to enhance software development-related processes and services to meet customer and end-user needs.
