The 19th Annual Women in Technology Leadership Awards will take place May 17, 2018, from 6-9 p.m. at the Sheraton Tysons.

Nominations must be submitted by Dec. 8. For more details and nomination form, click here.

These awards honor women professionals in a variety of categories highlighting performance in aspects of career advancement, contribution to the community, mentorship and leadership.

WIT’s nomination process examines four ways a woman may impact her organization.

    • Achievement: Achieving success in a technology field or organization in the technology industry
    • Leadership: Empowering her team to be architects of change in the technology industry
    • Mentorship: Advancing women from the classroom to the boardroom
    • Community Engagement: Engaging in extracurricular activities and community/civic involvement

“The goal is to identify those smart, gutsy women who take calculated risks to help their company achieve great success – those women who are self-starters and who other people admire and look to as leaders,” said Kathryn Harris, former president of Women in Technology. “WIT created the Leadership Awards to encourage women who don’t always get the recognition and rewards they deserve. We are proud that 1,100+ companies have taken advantage of this unique and recognized forum to honor their amazing women leaders over the years.”
