Altamira Technologies has been selected by the U.S. Air Force to create a Chief Data Office that will serve as centralized hub for advanced data analytics projects.
The Chief Data Office will provide facilities and personnel to improve access to USAF data across the organization, Altamira said.
“Through this endeavor, Altamira will build upon our strengths in big data analytics to develop repeatable processes that will support evidence driven decision-making for our customer,” said Jonathan Moneymaker, Altamira’s executive vice president and chief strategy officer.
Altamira will provide data engineering and architecture, and will apply business intelligence, machine learning, analytic dashboards and other services to allow the Air Force to get the most out of its data, the company said.
Internal Air Force customers will be able to bring inquiries to the Chief Data Office and gain actionable data that will help them make complex organizational decisions, according to Altamira.
