MacAulay-Brown Inc. has partnered with Engility Corp. on a contract to provide advanced simulation services to the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate.
The single award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity will provide research and development for an Air Force program that aims to help the government evaluate concepts for high-end, next-generation weapon systems.
MacB will work with Engility on the development of multispectral and other advanced modeling capabilities, radar signal processing, integrated projector and scene generation technologies, and R&D of virtual simulation environments, the company said.
The new contract continues an 18-year relationship with the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate, according to MacB Senior Vice President Fred Norman.
“This recompete award represents the government and our team’s continued commitment and advanced work on Hardware-in-the-Loop test technology, and our critical role in the research, development and transition of Air Force munitions through the use of integrated guidance simulation,” he said.
The work will be performed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida over a 5-year period, MacB said.
