    Sevatec Hires Aslam Nawabzada as CTO

    Sevatec Inc. has hired former CSRA partner Aslam Nawabzada to be the company’s new chief technology officer.

    Nawabzada has held leadership positions at CSRA, The Washington Post and IBM. He has more than 20 years of experience in enterprise technology work, including big data, cybersecurity and IT modernization initiatives within the national security industry, Sevatec said.

    “His deep technical expertise in our core solution offerings, his keen business acumen, and his passion to innovate,will enable Sevatec to continue in its position as a market leader,” Sevatec Founder and CEO Sonny Kakar said.

    At CSRA, Nawabzada managed the digital technology practice and led the development of large-scale solution offerings for federal, state and local agencies.

    “I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Sevatec team,” he said. “Along with my exceptional team, we aim to create the most enduring, innovative solutions to enable the IT modernization objectives of our national security customers – all while improving operational performance, enhancing the customer’s experience, and reducing costs.”
