Peraton has promoted Laurie Foglesong, an 8-year veteran with the company, to chief human resources officer.
Foglesong has more than 20 years’ experience in human resources, and served as an HR director for Harris Corp. before its government services business was acquired by Veritas and rebranded as Peraton.
“I can think of no better person to lead Peraton’s human resources strategy – including such critical needs as talent acquisition, talent development, and employee engagement – than Laurie,” Peraton CEO Stu Shea said. “She knows our business and understands our people.”
Fogleson was integral to the transition of the legacy Harris Government IT Services business, and her HR experience includes positions at other government contracting and technology-focused companies, including Engineering Management & Integration, Ariel Research Corp., and Advanced Switching Communication, Peraton said.
Veritas Capital acquired the government services business from Harris in April 2017, and Peraton had operated as MHVC Acquisition Corp. between the time of the sale and the company’s rebranding as Peraton in July.
