A KeyW Holding Corp. subsidiary, Sotera Defense Solutions Inc., has been awarded an $18 million task order to provide business systems software engineering and sustainment services to the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command.
The 3-year task order will support U.S. Army CECOM’s Enterprise Information Systems Directorate, and was awarded through the $7 billion Software and Systems Engineering Services Next Generation indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. This is the fifth task order won by Sotera and KeyW through that contract, according to KeyW.
Through the task order, Sotera will support Enterprise Information Systems Directorate’s mission to provide program management and lifecycle sustainment functions for all assigned enterprise resource planning, logistics IT, satellite communications and the departments of Defense/Army enterprise business applications.
“KeyW is mission-focused,” said Bill Weber, KeyW CEO. “And we’re honored to continue this work that ultimately supports the Army’s mission to provide quality software solutions for warfighters.”
KeyW acquired Sotera earlier this year, and recently won a $24 million contract to conduct research for the Air Force Research Laboratory. Weber was featured earlier this year as one of WashingtonExec’s 25 Leaders in Government Contracting You Should Know About.
