The Washington Post has named business strategy and technology consulting company CVP among its 2017 Top Workplaces.
This marks the first year the growing company has received the award.
The Post’s Top Workplaces list includes 150 employers with the highest survey ratings from their employees. There are more than 1,300 companies, nonprofits and government agencies in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia who complete the survey.
“This honor belongs to all of us at CVP,” said CEO Anirudh Kulkarni. “To be successful, organizational culture cannot be preached about; it must be lived and practiced by all. It is experienced, not trained.”
CVP has grown by more than 60 percent annually between 2013 and 2017.
“CVP sees the diversity of its staff as an asset in creating a rewarding environment for professional fulfillment,” said Raelene Wagoner, vice president of human resources. “Diversity in terms of age, gender, culture, profession and experience that provides a blend of perspectives that translates to a unique experience for the entire staff.”
CVP ranked forty-first out of 60 mid-sized companies on the list.
The company supports clients in the healthcare, national security and public sectors in addition to private business.
