Salient CRGT health service expert David Ruskin was recognized as the winner for the “Emerging Leader of the Year – Industry” category in the 2017 AFCEA Bethesda Chapter’s 10th Annual InnovateIT Awards, the company announced.

Ruskin, deputy program manager of Salient CRGT’s health services division, was honored for creating a process improvement concept and social media education campaign that encourages employees to take action to improve their processes and use of technology. Ruskin is a leader in the company’s continuous process improvement practice, and the only executive under 35 serving in a program management capacity, according to AFCEA.

“Think Process is a team effort, supported by talented and passionate members of our health services division,” Ruskin said. “I don’t view this as an individual award. Rather, this recognizes our innovative approach to establishing a culture of process improvement, as well as the notable cost savings and efficiencies our client achieved as a result.”

Ruskin’s #ThinkProcess campaign focuses on identifying, defining and enhancing processes in order to improve outcomes, Salient CRGT said.
