A trio of executives focused on national security are now on the leadership team at MHVC Acquisition Corp., formerly Harris Corp.’s Government Services business.
MHVC Acquisition Corp. CEO Stu Shea named Jeremy Wensinger chief operating officer, James Winner chief legal officer and general counsel, and Robert Giannetta chief information officer. The company is slated to soon unveil its new brand.
“I am thrilled to welcome these outstanding industry leaders to our executive team,” Shea said. “We are coming out of the gate ready to strongly compete in the mission critical domains of cyber, space and intelligence. We envision great opportunities ahead, as we build the leadership team that will maximize results for all stakeholders. These executives understand the competitive environment, are committed to quality outcomes, and know how to drive business growth and deliver mission success.”
Wensinger previously served as principal at Augusta Management Strategies. He was president of PAE’s National Security and Solutions business after being COO of GTSI, and chairman and president of Cobham Defense Systems. He spent two decades at Harris Corp., as president of the IT Services business and group president of the Government Communications Systems division. He serves on the advisory board of the University of South Florida School of Business.
Winner’s most recent role was at GardaWorld Federal Services, as chief legal officer and general counsel. Prior, he served in division general counsel positions for Northrop Grumman, ITT Corporation and Exelis Inc. He also practiced law with Barnes & Thornburg LLP and worked as in-house counsel for Rolls-Royce Corp. and Cummins Inc. Winner is a U.S. Air Force veteran and a board member of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce. He was named the 2016 National Capital Region Outstanding Chief Legal Officer by the Association of Corporate Counsel.
Giannetta’s last position was as a partner for technology advisory services at CAUSA Talent Source. Previously, he was vice president and CIO of USIS. His earlier career included management roles at Nextel, Sprint and BAE Systems, as a vice president and business technology officer. Giannetta is a U.S. Navy veteran and serves on the board of directors for Operation Homefront.
“In Stu Shea’s recent announcement as CEO, I made mention that MHVC was putting together a team the market would notice,” said Mark HuYoung, managing partner at NorthWind Partners. “These top-tier executives are proof positive of that endeavor. Jeremy has over 30 years of leadership experience across products and services and has been historically praised by internal organizations and customers alike. He has made his calling card an undeniable ability to optimize the operations of mid-market to large enterprise businesses in both turnaround and growth scenarios. Jeremy and Stu will be a fantastic complement to one another. Jim Winner is a hands-on, engaging GC who possesses the proven ability to build and manage the legal framework of a fast-paced organization with deep involvement across other functions to include security, contracts, proposals and business development. His presence will provide tremendous lift across the business. Rob is a very focused, seasoned tech officer playing a mission critical role in the continued separation from Harris and beyond. Again, this is a highly capable cadre of leaders, each of whom have the ability to hit the ground running to position MHVC for tremendous success.”
