MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading national security company delivering advanced engineering services, cybersecurity and product solutions, announced today that Enlighten IT Consulting (EITC), a MacB company, recently launched new cyber defense capabilities (version 2.5) of its proprietary Rapid Analytic Deployment and Management Framework (RADMF). The technology offers Department of Defense (DoD) and other Government customers a unique way to deploy a cost-effective AWS GovCloud (US) environment in minutes. With RADMF, federal customers can rapidly deploy more than 40 open source technologies to support analytics development at production scale.
These mission-critical analytics are deployable in any accredited Big Data Platform (BDP) production environment with minimal changes required. Using the cloud instead of a traditional computer network eliminates the need for hardware, power, space, cooling and sustainment, and negates the cost of hiring technical staff to monitor and maintain a data center. RADMF can be turned on and off as needed to control costs.
The company originally developed the BDP to enhance technologies for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The RADMF cyber defense environment is offered on the BDP via Amazon AWS and OpenStack, a popular cloud software platform. The new technology also offers ease of navigation, which includes the ability to control multiple environments from one built-in interface. These improvements make the platform more accessible for customers using cloud technology to meet mission objectives.
“We continue providing customers with easy-to-use solutions for deployment, scalability and sustainment of a big data analytic environment with RADMF 2.5,” said Shawn Justice, Senior Vice President and General Manager of MacB’s Enlighten IT Group (EITG). “Our goal is to enable customers to focus on developing cost-effective analytics to meet and exceed mission objectives, and not have to worry about the platform they are using or the technologies that support it.”
