IT consulting firm Buchanan and Edwards has acquired the Reports and Requirement Company, LLC, a female-owned consulting service in intelligence collection, reporting and analysis.

With the acquisition of R2C, BE expands its analytic capabilities to support its government customers.

“The addition of R2C will bring BE the strength of new customer relationships within the intelligence community at a time when threats are ever-changing and the need for solutions to keep our country safe is growing,” BE CEO Dennis Kelly said. “We’re looking forward to collaborating into the future with R2C to solve some of our customers’ and our country’s toughest challenges.”

R2C owners and chief executives Katrina Barlow and Kathy Rondon will stay on after the acquisition and remain a part of the daily operations of R2C as a wholly owned subsidiary of BE, according to a company release.

“By joining forces, we know that we’ll be able to continue delivering leading-edge solutions that leverage technological know-how, reduce costs and expand security to support our nation’s greatest intelligence and national security needs,”  Barlow said.
