Complex challenges aren’t for the faint of heart. They require diligence, creativity and most of all, passion. For many, that passion is life long.

“Each of us remembers that critical moment when our interests were fueled by the passion of a teacher, family member, or friend,” said Kevin Kelly, CEO of LGS Innovations. “We chose to sponsor WashingtonExec’s STEM Symposium this year because it is designed to reach the pre-college age students who are passionate about STEM, or may be considering a career in STEM. Our hope is to use the WashingtonExec STEM Symposium as a way to pass that passion on to the next generation of bright minds.”

More than 3,000 students, parents and teachers are expected to attend this year’s event, presented by LGS Innovations.

“LGS Innovations has earned a reputation for creating innovative solutions for very difficult mission challenges,” Kelly said. “Our ability to do so, both now and in the future, is dependent on our ability to attract and retain some of the world’s most gifted engineers and scientists who have a passion for solving difficult problems and making a positive impact.”

LGS Innovations has a long history of innovation and invention, going back 75 years to its origins with Bell Labs and AT&T. The company knows great ideas can come from anywhere, and has incentive programs for new ideas for everyone from executives to interns. Your own child might hold the key to unlocking the secrets of next-generation photonics or advanced cybersecurity solutions. Come to the STEM Symposium and see!

WashingtonExec’s STEM Symposium presented by LGS Innovations is March 25, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Register today!
