Technology solutions provider TWD & Associates Inc. has appointed John Acton to its board of directors.
“John’s background, especially his executive-level commercial experience, will add a new dimension and perspective to our board of directors as we continue to expand our solution offerings beyond the government market,” TWD President and CEO Larry Besterman said. “John will use that experience to help TWD continue to define our growth strategies and connect those strategies to day-to-day operational and financial decisions. We welcome him to the board.”
“TWD is poised to see huge successes as it expands its focus and solution set to support commercial organizations,” Acton said. “I am pleased to be joining the board of directors and look forward to helping TWD hone its strategic and operational direction going forward.”
Acton most recently served as acting chief learning officer and deputy chief learning officer for the Homeland Security Department. He also brings 25 years of general and marketing management, change management and client account and field sales management experience in the private sector to the position.
