NCI Inc. announced Dec. 13 it has been awarded a $43 million firm-fixed-price multiple award Flexible Agile Development Services II task order by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, under the DHS EAGLE II contract. The award consists of a 6-month base and two six-month option periods.

“As an original EAGLE II contract-award holder, we are pleased to serve as a true technical partner and agile leader for USCIS,” NCI Vice President Suzanne Liscouski said. “Our technical staff and team are ready to apply the extensive knowledge gained from our long and diverse agile background. We look forward to raising the bar and better supporting the immigration experience from adjudicators to applicants alike.”

“USCIS is at the forefront of the federal government’s movement to utilize agile and lean IT delivery methodologies,” NCI President and CEO Paul A. Dillahay said. “NCI’s corporate experience and capabilities are a perfect fit for the type of development USCIS is seeking to accomplish with FADS II. Our background of federal and commercial work using agile processes allows us to be innovative and cost-efficient for this important new customer.”

FADS II will provide a flexible agile capability to accomplish IT development projects across USCIS in support of a technologically innovative, state-of-the-art, electronic and customer-centric architecture. NCI will supply agile/DevOps teams to collaborate with other FADS II contractors using agile and lean processes, such as scrum. NCI’s teams will participate with federal employees and other contractors using a scaled agile approach to deliver high-quality mission value. They also will innovate new ways to deliver cost-effective government IT services with greater frequency and responsiveness.
