Women in Technology is seeking nominations for the 18th Annual Leadership Awards. Nominations will be accepted through Dec. 9.
“The Annual WIT Leadership Awards is an event that spotlights the stories of some remarkable women in the Washington D.C. area,” WIT President Kathryn Harris said. “What makes these women truly inspiring is their dedication and passion for leading, mentoring and giving back to others in their companies and their communities. WIT honors women in private industry, government, defense and academia who, through their outstanding capabilities and talents, have set themselves apart in their professional and personal accomplishments. We are excited for the 2017 gala where we will celebrate another group of extraordinary women whose knowledge, drive and vision and generosity has made an impact in the technology industry in unique and important ways.”
The annual Leadership Awards program encourages the recognition of female professionals who are not only leaders in the technology field, but also bring a unique vision and talent to the industry, while supporting their community.
Both WIT members and nonmembers are eligible for nominations and winners will be announced at the Leadership Awards Banquet on May 11, 2017, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Reston, Virginia.
