NCI Inc. announced Oct. 31 Paul A. Dillahay has been appointed president and CEO by the board of directors, effective immediately. He will succeed Brian J. Clark, who resigned from the positions to pursue other opportunities. Dillahay has also been appointed to NCI’s board of directors.
Dillahay previously served as CACI International’s Health and Litigation Solutions group executive vice president and in senior management positions at General Electric, Lockheed Martin, U.S. Investigation Services and ASRC Federal.
“On behalf of the board of directors, I thank Brian for his service to NCI in right-sizing the infrastructure and building a strong balance sheet,” NCI board Chairman Charles K. Narang said. “I look forward to working with Paul. I think his background and experience will be a tremendous benefit to the company going forward.”
“I’m excited about the opportunity to lead NCI into the future, work with the board and the leadership team, and expand on NCI’s commitment to our customers and employees,” Dillahay said. “NCI’s culture of trust, integrity and performance is a tremendous foundation to build upon as we seek to create sustainable organic growth, while delivering shareholder value.”
“Over the past decade, Paul has procured a valuable toolkit of financial, operational and growth-centric leadership experiences within publicly-held and private equity owned organizations from which NCI will benefit,” NorthWind Partners Managing Partner Mark HuYoung said. “He is a laudable successor to Brian, who led the company through a season of solid growth in revenue, bookings and backlog. I believe Dr. Narang, the board and shareholders will be pleased with the company’s trajectory under Paul’s direction.”
