AMERICAN SYSTEMS has announced Kenneth J. Krieg, former undersecretary of defense for acquisition, technology and logistics, will be joining the company’s advisory board, where he will work closely with the company’s management team.

Other members of the advisory board include Delores M. Etter, former assistant secretary of the Navy for research, development and acquisition; Richard L. Haver, former special assistant to the secretary of defense for intelligence; R. Noel Longuemare, former principal deputy undersecretary of defense for acquisition and technology; and Sue C. Payton, former assistant secretary of the Air Force for acquisition.

“We are honored to welcome Ken to our advisory board,” said AMERICAN SYSTEMS President and CEO Peter Smith. “To have someone with his credentials providing insight and advice to our senior leadership adds another advantageous element to our growth strategies in the federal and defense sectors.”
