FCi Federal, founded in 1991 by Sharon D. Virts as a consultancy to large government contractors before evolving into a government services prime contractor, celebrates its 25th anniversary as a leading government services contractor. FCi got its start in a basement and recently moved to a 26,000-square-foot headquarters with expected revenues topping $200 million by the yearend.
“Twenty-five years ago, my goal was to create a business that supported missions that matter, mentor a strong employee base and together achieve great success,” Virts said. “Although the path has not been without its challenges, it forced us to focus and move into markets where we could excel. I am proud we never gave up and even more proud of all the employees I have worked alongside who are making this milestone possible.”
“FCi is an extraordinary company and I am honored to lead our company and the FCi team as we serve our current and future government customers for the next 25 years and beyond,” said Scott F. Miller, FCi Federal CEO and president.
