Reston, Virginia-based Amyx Inc. announced it has been named a finalist for the Greater Washington Government Contractor Award, in the $25 million to $75 million category. The awards are presented annually to individuals and businesses in the government contracting sector that denote leadership, innovation and commitment to excellence.

“It is an honor to have been selected as a finalist for this prestigious award,” Amyx President and CEO Satya Akula said. “Our selection for the fourth time in five years is a testament to the commitment that our team has made to both our clients and community. We are very proud to be considered amongst a world-class pool of finalists.”

The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and Professional Services Council will present the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards on Nov. 1 at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner. The GovCon Awards are the premier event honoring the leadership, innovation and commitment to excellence of the people and businesses in the region’s government contracting community.
