Serco Inc. has been awarded a contract by Public Services and Procurement Canada to continue providing site support services. The contract has two base years valued at a total of approximately $115 million, and two 1-year option periods.
Under the contract, Serco will perform the majority of the nonmilitary operation and maintenance functions, which include: aviation services, including air traffic control and navaids; logistics services, including warehouse operations, snow and ice removal, environmental protection, hazardous waste management and material control; and facilities management services, including engineering, telecom/IT, electrical and airfield distribution systems, water treatment, central heating plant operations, grounds maintenance, security, food services and janitorial services.
