Reston, Virginia-based Pragmatics announced Aug. 15 its Quality Management Systems was certified as meeting ISO 9001:2015 standards. Pragmatics QMS provides the management framework used to oversee its corporate and client operations, and helps Pragmatics deliver high-quality IT services and solutions.

“Since our initial adoption of ISO 9001 in 2004, we have continuously matured our best practices,” Chief Operating Officer Joe Brock said. “The result has been outstanding performance and high customer satisfaction.”

ISO 9001:2015 is process based; certification recognizes organizations that can link business objectives with operating effectiveness. Companies that achieve management system certification to ISO 9001:2015 have demonstrated effective implementation of documentation and records management, top management’s commitment to their customers, establishment of clear policy, good planning and implementation, good resource management, efficient process control, measurement and analysis. Continual improvement has been institutionalized.
