WashingtonExec recently announced it has named Matt McQueen vice chairman of its MARCOM Committee.
McQueen, who serves as sector director of communications for the Cyber and Intelligence Mission Solutions and Space ISR Systems divisions of Northrop Grumman Corp., joins chairman Andrew Bryden in leading one of WashingtonExec’s largest committees.
The MARCOM Committee hosts marketing and communication executives to discuss relevant topics including media best practices, content marketing, digital strategies, and effective employee engagement.
In his current role, McQueen is responsible for all aspects of external and internal communications for the divisions, including media relations, employee communications, digital content, thought leadership, trade shows and events. He also leads companywide communications and branding activities in support of Northrop Grumman’s core cyber capabilities.
McQueen had this to say about his new vice chairmanship: “As marketing and communications evolves within government contracting, it’s important that we continue to stay abreast of industry, media and customer trends that affect our member companies. I’m looking forward to working with Andrew Bryden and the WashingtonExec team to convene substantive gatherings of some of the most influential marcom leaders in the space.”
