FCi Federal has won a $25.5 million, 5-year prime contract with the State Department to support mail and diplomatic pouch services.

Under the contract, FCi will help State meet its mission-critical objectives by providing high-quality support services for processing all incoming and outgoing mail at two government sites in Virginia.

“Reliable diplomatic pouch and mail services supporting an international community involved in highly visible diplomacy are vital to the State Department’s mission,” said FCi Federal CEO and President Scott Miller. “We are proud DOS recognized our unique capabilities, innovative practices and program and document management expertise and selected FCi Federal as their partner.”

The award expands FCi’s footprint within the State Department. FCi serves as the prime contractor on State’s Visa Support Services program, supporting the department with essential fraud detection and national security efforts as well as its innovative programs to modernize the U.S. visa process.

“FCi’s work supporting close to 300 U.S. diplomatic and consular locations abroad combined with our work in the U.S. immigration and travel segment enables us to leverage our unique expertise and insight in support of Diplomatic Pouch & Mail operations,” said FCi Federal Executive Vice President of Corporate Development Michael Petrucelli. “We believe this provides significant operational efficiencies and advantages to the customer as well as those accessing their services.”
