WashingtonExec on June 2 celebrated five years of business at its annual appreciation event at the Congressional Country Club. Over 80 executives, council members, past speakers and the company’s longtime supporters attended the event.
The occasion also marked six months since the General Managers Council was founded by John Sutton, senior vice president and general manager of Vencore’s civilian and defense groups.
Through sharing advice, lessons learned, use cases and expertise among peers, the council provides a productive and informative forum for executives to better understand the mission needs of the federal IT, health care, public safety, intelligence and defense communities.
“We are honored to have John Sutton as the first chairman for the General Managers Council; it is already visible the effect he has had as chairman and we are sure he will continue to have a tremendous impact,” said JD Kathuria, founder and CEO of WashingtonExec.
