CSRA Inc. announced Aug. 24 the U.S. Air Force has awarded the company an IDIQ contract to provide logistics integration and weapon systems logistics network support. The single award contract has an $88 million ceiling over a 5-year period.

“A seamless and efficient logistics integration plan is essential and critical to the success of any organization,” CSRA Defense Group Executive Vice President Ken Deutsch said. “CSRA’s in-depth knowledge and vision for continual process improvement of the Air Force’s logistics environment will aid the Air Mobility Command in its efforts to provide world-class, worldwide air mobility while exploring methods for reducing the associated costs in logistics support.”

Under this contract, CSRA will provide support services to enable the U.S. Air Force to perform four separate interoperability roles. The roles include supporting technology infrastructure at Air Mobility Command and G081 program management office staff; providing G081 functional programming support, training and subject matter expertise for technology, policy and system integration recommendations.

CSRA will provide services primarily at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, as well as a number of bases across the U.S. and overseas at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
