Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC has successfully completed appraisal to Maturity Level 3 of the Capability Maturity Model Integration Services model with the Service System Development addition.

The CMMI gives guidance for improving processes that meet the strategic goals of an organization. The Services model provides a framework for services delivery within an organization and to its external customers.

“We’ve accomplished another significant achievement in a growing string of rapid and strategic evolutions for the company,” President and CEO Karen Trowbridge said. “This new rating of Trowbridge processes is further evidence of our corporate commitment to quality.”

For nearly a decade, the Trowbridge infrastructure has been ISO 9001:2008 certified. In May, the firm also achieved ISO 27001:2013 certification.

“Our customers and employees will soon experience the advantages of this implementation,” Trowbridge said.

The company also decided to pursue the optional SSD process area.

“We architect and implement complex, and tailored service systems for our clients,” said Chris Brandell, Trowbridge’s chief operating officer. “In our initial CMMI implementation discussions, we felt compelled to ensure our development process was as robust as possible, according to industry best practices.”
