This year’s annual member and speaker event at the Congressional Country Club was special to WashingtonExec as the company celebrated its fifth anniversary. WashingtonExec seized the opportunity to recognize and show appreciation to certain members who have played a huge role in the company’s growth.

Sunny Bajaj, president and CEO of DMI, was one of those recognized, and he received the WashingtonExec Early Adopter Award. The impact Bajaj and DMI have had on WashingtonExec is unquestionable; the growth of this organization would not have been possible without Bajaj’s continued support.

Bajaj graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a degree in economics. He went on to work for AppNet/Commerce One for two years before moving on to DMI, where he’s been for the past 14 years.

“Sunny Bajaj and DMI have been instrumental to the growth and success of WashingtonExec,” said JD Kathuria, CEO and founder of WashingtonExec. “DMI sponsored our first event back in 2011, and continues to offer counsel to me on an ongoing basis. Sunny is one of those executives you instantly like when you first meet him.”
