IOMAXIS announced Aug. 2 the appointment of Matthew Jankowski as senior vice president of business development. He will be charged with building out the company’s business development function and driving sales to a growing base of customers.

“We are growing our sales organization and are excited to have Matt join us in this new leadership role within our company,” IOMAXIS CEO Dennis Kelly said. “Matt’s strong experience in cyber and business development supporting government customers will be a great asset to our team as we work to move IOMAXIS to the next level of corporate performance and grow into new markets.”

“IOMAXIS is a very innovative technology company that deploys mission-critical and innovative cybersecurity, advanced communications, computing and network solutions for our nation, and I am thrilled to be joining their team,” Jankowski said. “I look forward to helping introduce IOMAXIS to more government customers and commercial partners who could benefit from the company’s unique technology solutions.”

Jankowski brings to the position more than 25 years’ experience in the areas of military, federal and intelligence communities. He has held leadership positions with Defense Engineering Inc., Celerant Government Services (now Hitachi Consulting), Kadix Systems (now Engility), Cisco and PRTM Management Consulting (now PWC).

Jankowski served as an officer and aviator in the U.S. Navy. He earned a graduate certificate in IT and telecommunications from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
