MacAulay-Brown, Inc. President and CEO Sid Fuchs delivered an industry perspective on Aug. 4, highlighting various factors the private sector considers when bidding and performing on IT and engineering services procurements.
Invited by the Professional Services Council and Defense Acquisition University, Fuchs spoke as part of a DAU 301 Course on on Advanced Enterprise Information Systems Acquisition, according to an Aug. 8 company announcement. The presentation was in Kettering, Ohio.
“It’s an honor to have been selected by the PSC to present to the DAU and provide the audience with real-world perspectives and insights on how government acquisition methodologies play a key role in industry’s strategy around bid decisions and contract execution,” Fuchs said. “I personally want to thank Alan Chvotkin, PSC executive vice president and counsel, for the opportunity to discuss these advanced topics that are critical to ensuring that communication and collaboration between government and industry continues.”
A former CIA officer who served at both domestic and foreign posts, Fuchs has spent 30 years leading and building companies and organizations within the aerospace and defense industry. MacB has under his leadership completed multiple acquisitions and seen continued growth by entering new markets and adding mission-critical capabilities. 2015 was a record year for the company when it delivered over 200 contract wins totaling more than $430 million.
