Arctic Slope Regional Corporation announced Aug. 17 its acquisition of Vistronix Intelligence & Technology Solutions by its wholly-owned subsidiary, ASRC Federal. Going forward, Vistronix will be a subsidiary of ASRC Federal.

Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, Vistronix brings more than 700 employees to the company and has been providing a broad range of enterprise solutions to federal agencies across the mission assurance and national security markets for more than 25 years.

“This acquisition demonstrates ASRC’s continued commitment to diversifying and growing our government services portfolio,” ASRC President and CEO Rex A. Rock Sr. said.

“The acquisition of Vistronix meets important objectives necessary for ASRC Federal to fulfill its role in ASRC’s strategic plan,” ASRC Federal President and CEO Mark Gray said. “Specifically, this acquisition expands our customer footprint in the intelligence community, and in key, select civilian and DOD markets, while strengthening discriminating capabilities in the areas of advanced analytics, signal intelligence, cybersecurity and large-scale data processing.”

Bob Kipps, Managing Director at KippsDeSanto & Co., explained the significance of this acquisition. “Vistronix is a blockbuster acquisition for ASRC bringing them access to highly coveted Intel customers, depth in new distinctive capabilities and a great management team–all the strategic attributes buyers seek from M&A!”
