Fulcrum announced June 13 that the company has received part of the U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) Support Contract multiple award, IDIQ contract, as a subcontractor to Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC). The award has a five-year base period of performance with a total value of $460 million for all awardees.

“We are excited and proud to be providing support to our Nation’s premier cyber defense agency in providing operations and joint mission planning capabilities for the Dept. of Defense,” Fulcrum CEO Jeff Handy said. “This effort expands our rapidly growing cyber capabilities throughout the DoD and federal agencies, and we are excited to expand our cyber team to provide mission understanding and experience to support and enhance our nation’s cyber defense.”

The USCYBERCOM awarded six prime contracts to provide cyber operations support services. Fulcrum will provide focused expertise in cyber technologies and operations, planning of cyber strategies, intelligence support to cyber operations and niche expertise in the “security of the internet of things” to include digital and non-digital information streams.

USCYBERCOM plans, coordinates, integrates, synchronizes and conducts activities to direct the operations and defense of specified DoD information networks and conducts full-spectrum military cyberspace operations.
