Earlier this month MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company that delivers advanced engineering services and product solutions, announced its partnership with Exeter Government Services, LLC, a veteran-owned small business government consulting company. The companies will partner on a software and organizational process management contract for the Purchase Request Processing System (PRPS).
The five year contract will be performed at several office locations in Dayton and will extend MacB’s expertise into acquisition systems sustainment, while also continuing the company’s support of Oracle-based and logistics systems for the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC).
“This win showcases our exceptional efforts in logistics and system sustainment for USAF and other defense components,” said Senior Vice President and General Manager for MacB’s Advanced Technology Group (ATG), Tim Lawrence. “Our recent appraisal at Level 3 of the CMMI® Institute’s Capability Maturity Model further demonstrates that our systems engineering and organizational process management continues to provide value for MacB customers.”
AFLCMC is one of six specialized centers assigned to Air Force Materiel Command responsible for life cycle management of fighters, bombers, mobility and tanker aircraft and Special Operations weapon systems. The PRPS, used by more than 2,800, is a purchase request and acquisition system that provides the maintenance, modification and sustainment.
PRPS initiates all Purchase Instruments (PIs) for weapon system spare part buys, needed repairs and other services related to supply chain operations. The MacB and Exeter will be responsible for system analysis and designing and testing new lines of software code, while maintaining the required baseline functionality of the multi-level Oracle-based secure management system.
