DLT Solutions announced May 25 that CRN has named Vice President of Marketing Kristin Oelke to its prestigious 2016 Women of the Channel list. Honorees span the IT industry — representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations — and are recognized for their outstanding leadership, vision and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.
“This prestigious honor exemplifies Kristin’s contributions to our customers, the industry and our company. Her efforts ultimately help serve important public sector missions by connecting customers with the technologies that best address their needs,” DLT COO Brian Strosser said. “Kristin acts as an inspiration to her team, as well as a role model across the industry. She demonstrates outstanding leadership and integrity and is the driving force in making our marketing department one of the best in the industry.”
Since joining DLT last year, Oelke has restructured the company’s marketing department to support rapidly-changing market dynamics; increased communication, planning and partnering with many of the largest technology innovators in the industry; and created opportunities for women in the Dulles technology corridor. She plays an active role in the public sector technology community.
“These executives have made a lasting mark on our industry—growing and elevating partner programs, leading transitions to new business models and introducing cutting-edge go-to-market strategies, among other remarkable achievements,” The Channel Company CEO Robert Faletra said. “We congratulate all the 2016 Women of the Channel and celebrate their singular contributions to the advancement of the channel ecosystem.”
CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees on the basis of their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel. The list will be featured online and in the June issue of CRN Magazine.
