The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation is hosting the inaugural Cap Ripken, Sr. Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, June 20th at the Westwood Country Club in East Vienna, Virginia. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with the golf tournament and lunch on the course scheduled from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. There will also be a dinner, auction and awards to follow from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The Cal Ripken, Sr. Charity Golf Tournament will benefit the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation which is a nonprofit founded in 2001 that works throughout the country with community-based youth organizations to serve at-risk youth in America’s most distressed communities. This foundation also works with law enforcement to provide resources, training, a character education curriculum, and program support to mentor kids and help them reach their potential.
The cost to participate for an individual player is $1500.00 which includes the full round of golf and one seat at the awards dinner and auction following the tournament. There are also three levels of sponsorship; Gold Tee Sponsorship – $25,000, Silver Tee Sponsorship – $10,000, and Bronze Tee Sponsorship – $5,000.
